Tim Moure, aka as Timur Murtuzaev, aka Tamerlan Murtuzaev was born June 15, 1960 in Makhachkala, Dagestan, USSR in doctor’s family. When he was 7 family moved to Moscow, started to play guitar at age 11, served 2 years in army, at 24 he become a student of Gnesin’s musical academy learning classical upright bass, but never became a classical musician. He played several different rock groups before he joined Bravo group in 1984 where he played fretless bass. The group became super popular. He recorded an LP which was sold in 1987 more then 5 million copies. At the top of popularity he left Bravo and worked with various artists including Crossroads, Natalia Vetlitskaya, Igor Sukachev as a session musician. In 1988 he joined Zhanna Aguzarova which left Bravo a year later and was produced and recorded so called Russian Album, which was acclaimed as the best album of the year. He left Aguzarova’s band and in 1989 and joined Igor Sukachev’s Brigada S. He did a lot of arrangements to the existing and new songs. Recorded an album “No Allergy” and in 1991 left the group taken with him an old friend of his- drummer Pavel Kuzin (which played with him in Bravo) and the guitar player Artem Pavlenko, later this trio became known as Mess Age. Tim decided to leave the group because of the differences in their opinions and came to United States in December 1991. He stopped playing for about 15 years, worked in IT industry and focused on his family. In 2004 he played in Kremlin (Moscow) joined Bravo for the 20th anniversary. Returned to Los Angeles he played with Aleksey Mostepan (Agrofena), created different songs and sing them, later he joined Ayin Aleph for about a year, played completely different music (Gothic Metal with classical elements), visited Brussels with her band and played at the Female Metal Voice festival. Then he decided to start his own musical project called Durov’s Corner. Leo Chelyapov (bass clarinet, duduk, saxophone, piano) and Mark Sheldon completed it. The trio works in Mark’s studio for about a year. Then Mark left the project and joined that again after some time. Project was based on Tim’s ideas and concepts. But Mark and Leo brought a lot of different ideas on top of that. In 2018 Tim is moving to Florida where he lives till now. Durov’s Corner music is crossroads of all styles rock, jazz, native and classical. People who familiar with the music said it’s very cinematic, ambient and unpredictable.
